[Solved] Adobe Flash player does not work on either 32bit IE8 on or 64bit IE8 with Windows 7.

Adobe Flash player does not work on either 32bit IE8 on or 64bit IE8 with Windows 7.

Adobe Flash player does not work on either 32bit IE8 on or 64bit IE8 with Windows 7.  Just hangs when i try to play a youtube or any other video.
This is a brand new Dell Studio XPS 16 laptop, with McAfee AV.
I thought you could play it on the 32 bit browser
but it doesn't.  Please help.

Were you able to watch online videos earlier?
Try temporarily disabling all security software's and check if it helps.

I would suggest you to try the below methods one by one and check.
 
Method 1:
 
Uninstall adobe flash player using the uninstall tool and restart the computer.
After restart install adobe flash player and check if the problem persists.
Download uninstall tool form the following link
http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/141/tn_14157.html (After uninstalling adobe flash player, install 32 bit adobe flash player.)

If still the problem persists then try the next method.
 
Method 2:
 
1: Clear cached data in Internet Explorer
 
    1.
Open Internet Explorer 8.

    2.
Click Safety, and then click Delete Browsing History.

    3.
In Delete Browsing History area, click Delete.

 
2: Reset security settings for Internet Explorer
 
    1.
Open Internet Explorer.

    2.
Click Tools, and then click Internet Options.

    3.
Click the Security tab.

    4.
Click Reset all zones to default level, and then click OK.

Method 3: Reset Internet Explorer.

In this method we will try to Boot in Safe mode with Networking and see if the error still persists.

  • Search "MSCONFIG" and Open.
  • Click on Boot Tab
  • Tick Safe Boot in Boot Option
  • Select Network.
  • Click Apply and OK.
  • Reboot your System.
