Backup does not complete successfully: error 0x80070032

I set up a Windows 7 scheduled backup last week and was able to perform a few manual backups.
Today, the backup keeps failing right after the system image backup completes.
The error is 0x80070032.
I can't find any information on that error code, so I
don't know where the problem is.

I'm running Win 7 Home Premium 64-bit.
I'm backing up to a new Seagate external hard drive with 1TB of space, so space is not an issue.

You may check if the services related to Back up and Restore are started when you are trying to do a back up of the files.

1.      Click on Start
2.      In the start Search box type Services
3.      Right Click on - RUN AS ADMIN
These are the services that are required to be running when you are trying to perform a back up.
Windows Event Log      Started      Automatic
Task Scheduler              Started       Automatic
Windows Backup          Stopped    Manual

Also antivirus/antispyware/security products have been known to cause this issue.
Try disabling the security software and check if you are able to perform a back up.

Open Action Center by clicking the Start button Picture of the Start button, clicking Control Panel, and then, under System and Security, clicking Review your computer's status.

Hi,
I would like to automatically fill another cell based on my input.
For example, I might start typing in the name of a raw material in one cell, and thecode for that raw material isautomatically input into another cell - ie.
not using the 'Fill' feature where you must click and drag. The ability

Note: It is recommended that you back up your files and folders before attempting this step:

Move the mouse cursor over to the upper right side of the screen.
A menu will pop up on the left. Click on the "Settings" feature on the menu.
On the Settings window, click on the "Change PC settings."
Now, left click on the "Update and recovery" feature.
For the next step, left click on the "Recovery" feature.
There is an option here saying "Refresh your PC without affecting your files." There, left click on the "Get started" button.
Now, follow the instructions on the screen to finish the Refresh process.
After the Refresh process has finished restart your Windows 8.1 or Windows 8 device.

Auto power off of monitor during shutdown

Wonder if y'all can help...I have a dell i545s desktop pc that when I do a shutdown puts the monitor to a sleep/powersave mode. Is there anything in WINDOWS7 that could be set to force the monitor to shut off (vice sleep) during shutdown. As of now I
have to manually power the monitor off but the pc shuts itself off. It's not a big deal, just annoying.

In a word, no. But, most monitors will automatically enter a powersaving mode if they don't detect a signal. You can usually tell if this is the case if the monitor power light turns yellow or flashes after the computer is off. Some monitors will show
a test screen for a few moments before entering this power save mode.

If that's the case, you're basically already getting the benefit of it turning off, without the annoyance of having to do so manually. In power save mode, most monitors use almost zero power.

Windows Error Reporting - To Fix Auto power off of monitor during shutdown

Go to Start button.
Open Control Panel.
Go to Windows Error Reporting.
Click on System and Maintenance, then click Problem Reports and Solutions.
Next, click Change Settings located on the left side panel of the Problem Reports and Solutions window.
Select an option to configure how you want Windows to look for a solution to your problems. You may allow Windows to do it automatically or ask you every time to check if problem occurs.
Next, click the Advanced settings link.
Select Off to turn off Error Reporting.

Available RAM versus Free Memory

Something is really going on with my WIndows 7 version laptop.
In the task manager I can see that there is over have of my RAM is in Cache the other half is available but free memory is in the single digits.
When I try and open simple tasks like "My Computer"
the system bogs down and comes to a virtual standstill so I believe the availability of free memory is killing me.
Doe anyone know what I can do in a situation like this?

Was thinking about upgrading my HP Pavilion zv5000 series laptop to Windows 7, I did the upgrade adviser and it says that it doesn't like my graphics card, and that is the only thing.
Was wondering in all the months of RC testing was anyone able to get
a driver to make it work.
Would like to do a complete refurb on my laptop.

well, I thought it read, it will not support it.
However I have read from a website going back to January during the RC that some people were saying that Windows Aero will not work.
If that doesn't work what would be the point, since your not getting the

My Aspire 5745G laptop with Windows 7 (now sp1) cannot read/show/list any CD (except my original Windows7 CD).
It just says No CD/Insert CD etc.
ALL "non-read CDs" are read and work OK when put into a second portable LG CD player on the same computer.

Boot in Safe Mode:

Open Run command as previously described
Type MSConfig
Click on Boot tab
Tick Safe boot in Boot option
Select Network
Click Apply and OK
Reboot your system

Your system will boot in Safe mode with Networking. You may now try and open Windows Store and should not see any errors.

When I run Backup on my Win7Pro/64, I always get a warning at the end, saying:
"Backup did not complete successfully", and when I click on the
options button, I get the following:
"The backup completed but some files were skipped".
And when I click on View skipped files, I get:

"Backup encountered a problem while backing up file C:\Users\MyAccount\Desktop.
Error:(The system cannot find the file specified.
(0x80070002)) "

And indeed, this folder does not exist, as my profile folders have all been moved to another drive.
So why is backup still attempting to back this nonexistent folder ???
I'd like to get rid of this error, b/c I'm always scared that such strange symptoms could hide a more serious problem (like my real user folders not being backed up correctly...)
