Application Blocked For Security
I do not use my Surface very often for playing on Pogo, but lately, and it seems as if it began after the latest Win8.1 updates, I get a window that states "Application Blocked For Security"; "Failed to Validate Certificate, The Program Will Not Be Executed."
I have looked over some of the possible remedies I have seen pertaining to this issue without success.
I have reset IE to it's default settings, removed 3rd party security programs, reinstalled Java for both 32 and 64 bit, updated Java to the Beta version
8.0, tried to use Firefox (which I prefer to use IE as it is best for Windows) and tried adjusting several security settings in Java and Windows.
Nothing has worked.
Even the Java applet to verify whether it is installed correctly returns the same error.
I have pasted the contents which displays when "details" is clicked.
Honestly, it is gibberish to me and doesn't inform me of the problem or solution.
The popup window does not inform me of the program which creates it, leaving me unsure where to further troubleshoot.
If it is strictly a Java problem, I apologize in advance for posting it here, but as I stated, it seemed to become apparent after Windows 8.1's last update (the one that added the new feature of the shutdown option on the main screen).
