I don't understand why the database function formulas are generating different results than I would get if I filtered the data on three criteria.  I've used the database formulas many times in the past so this is not a new concept to me.
I have a DATA spreadsheet of customers where the three fields/columns that are used to determine the results of a query.  The three fields are "Program", "Case Manager" and "Registration Quarter".  The cells in the "Registration Quarter" column are computed
using the date value from the "Registration Date" field/column. The "Program" field/column has 4 choices (A,B,C and D) and the "Case Manager" field/column has 4 choices (John, Jack, Jill and James). If I want to know how many registrations Jill had in Quarter
1 for program A, I can filter the respective columns to get a result of 15.
On a separate spreadheet I use database formulas to determine the results of the same query but I'm getting different results.  The database formulas state that Jill has 18 Program A registrations in Quarter 1.  The filtered data clearly shows only 15.
I've always check my database formulas by filtering the data to see if the results are the same.  I don't understand wny I'm experiencing this behaviour now.
I've checked and checked and checked and can't find anything I've done that's not correct.  Any
ideas?
