data formatting in Excel 2007
We have some data that we exported to excel (2007) however we lost the leading zeros of the account field in the table.
If you use format cells to put them back on it is fine but the leading zeros are not retained when you save the file as csv format which
we have to do to load into a 3rd party software application that we use.
In office 2003 we got round this by saving the excel file as a text .txt file (which retained the formatting) and then copying and pasting the data back to an excel spreadsheet for saving as file type csv and this retained the formatting.
In Office 2007
it doesn't.
Does anyone know how we can retain this cell formatting when we save to csv ?
